Arezzo e il suo territorio. #Turismolento Valdichiana Outlet Village is honored to promote and support the exhibition “Riflessi antichi, visioni contemporanee. Arezzo ed il suo territorio. #Turismolento, organized by Musei della Toscana and Munus Arts & Culture at the Lower Basilica of San Francesco in Arezzo, a basilica that houses a splendid cycle of frescoes by Piero della Francesca. The exhibition is held in the context of the events dedicated by the Ministry of Cultural Heritage and Activities in 2019 to the year of "Slow Tourism". An important choice of photographic works and an emotional video tell the evocative Arezzo area: the Casentino, the Valdarno, the Valdichiana and the Valtiberina. Over 200 photographic works on display and video projections, that show the immense landscape and architectural heritage of the area surrounding the city of Arezzo, which extends from the center of the plain to its 4 valleys, the Casentino, the Valdarno, the Valdichiana and the Valtiberina, and is one of the preferred destinations for practicing the so-called Slow Tourism. A landscape loved by Piero della Francesca himself, whom painted between 1453-1459 in the basilica, leaving us also the splendid depictions of Arezzo itself, perched on its hills.
